Dear Friends,
As we approach the summer months, the sunshine and warmth give us hope that we are on the other side of this virus, at least for now. Summer also brings Father’s Day and a chance to celebrate how our Heavenly Father has taken care of us through it all. His promises are needed and valued as we see His hand in all things.
Father’s Day brings different thoughts for different people, especially in The Pregnancy Center. There are people who struggle with identity, value, and insecurity because they did not have a father who loved and cared for them the way a father should. Many of our clients had abusive or absent fathers, while others had attentive biological or adoptive fathers. In every case, the impact of the father cannot be overstated.
In this issue, you will read about two first-time fathers-to-be who are preparing to meet that challenge. Only by understanding and knowing their Heavenly Father can they fully appreciate what the term “good father” truly means. Because of generous donors like you, we have free resources available to help all parents grow. Some of our clients are single moms that struggle alone. We are also able to encourage them and remind them that the Lord is a Father to the fatherless, and to point them to the Lord for their comfort, security, and hope.
Most of all, we are thankful that our Heavenly Father is the Good Father who will never leave us or forsake us. Your generous donations allow us to point every client to the God who is “a shelter from the wind and a refuge from the storm, like streams of water in the desert.” It is wonderful to be able to offer this message to the hurting and the fatherless. Thank you for your prayers and support.
Friends for LIFE,
